Hypnosis Without Trance is a modern, precision approach to facilitating hypnotic experiences and opening up the possibilities for profound change that can unfold from them. 'Without Trance' refers to the bypassing of the traditional requirement to induce a special 'state of hypnosis' in order to generate desired hypnotic effects, instead working directly with cognitive processes that create them.

As such, Hypnosis Without Trance takes a strategic and tactical approach to hypnotic work that transcends the traditional (and unnecessarily limiting) approach of ‘hypnotic induction’, freeing us to go directly and creatively for the phenomena we want.

To become proficient in the HWT approach to hypnosis is, put simply, to become proficient at moving minds and shifting experiences.

The majority of people undertaking this program do so for the purposes of either becoming effective people developers/personal change agents (hypnotherapy, coaching etc.) OR simply to develop the ability to create powerful and personal magical experiences for people (impromptu hypnosis, street shamanics, mentalism etc.) A small subset are interested in what the 'psychology of hypnosis' can teach them about sales and general influence, but this is not a specialism of the program.

There are three primary areas in which the HWT approach offers an advantage over more traditional approaches:

Increased Success Rates - by tailoring the work to fit the cognitive styles, worldview and values sets of the individual and working with in-built 'no-fail protocols' you will be able to create hypnotic experiences where other hypnotists would fail.

Flexibility and Adaptability - no memorised rote scrips or processes, just real embodied skills and understandings that allow you to hypnotically create powerful, individual experiences for your client or co-operator.

Personally Enriching - the skills and understandings gained through your transformation with Hypnosis Without Trance will serve you way beyond the confines of formal hypnotic facilitation work. You will gain a deep understanding of how human beings create their reality from the inside out, and how to influence that through communication.

HWT comes from my own explorations in the arenas of both hypnotherapy and street hypnosis, but has many influences upon it, including: taoism, mentalism, neurolinguistics and NLP, Ericksonian hypnosis, classical direct hypnosis, Kieth Johnstone's Impro philosophy and the work of David Grove (linguistics and Clean facilitation).

1. An extensive series of video and audio lessons teaching hypnosis and hypnotic changework at a variety of 'logical levels' from fine detail up to high level principles.

There are hundreds of lessons covering aspects from phenomena elicitation to hypnotic languaging to formal and conversational changework.

2. An online peer support community (currently Facebook based) where you can ask questions, discuss the content of the course and connect with potential practise partners.

3. Monthly live 'open frame' mentoring session where you can get live interaction from me on any aspect of your development as a hypnotic facilitator.

4. Special ODA exclusive rates on one-to-one coaching.  Personal coaching from me is by no means a requirement in the development of hight level skills within this program but is available for the dedicated!

No. A lot of subscription based online skills development programs keep you subscribing by drip-feeding content - at HWT we do NOT do this. Immediately upon subscription you have access to ALL content, so you can create your own 'custom engagement' according to your individual interests.

Different people work through the materials in this program at different rates, and in different orders. Some people have very specialist interests and so they can be quite focussed in what they want to get, and when they get it they move on. Others choose to dive deep and stay in the program as it serves them in continuing to deepen their skills and understandings. There is no right or wrong with this - the program is here to work for you however you choose to work with it.

To get the very best from this program in terms of skills development you will absolutely need to explore the material with live practise partners. You can use the Facebook group to find online practise partners but there are other options too. If you want any advice on setting up live, local practise groups, you will find that within the group, and your personal questions on the topic are always welcome.
